How often are NAV of mutual funds updated?

All mutual fund AMCs in India update the NAV of each scheme in the evening before 9 PM on all working days. The NAV that we see during the midday is the one declared on the evening of the last working day. For request made before 3 PM, the transactions are done on the basis of the NAV declared in the evening of the previous day. If the request is made after 3 PM on a working day, the investment or withdrawal will be done on the basis of the NAV that will be updated in the evening.
